Minor Suspect in Palestinian Village Violence Surrenders to Police

A minor suspect, a resident of the Samaria region, who was on the run and subject to an arrest warrant, surrendered to police on Tuesday morning and was arrested. He is being questioned at the inter-organizational headquarters in the Judea and Samaria district. Police are expected to request an extension of his detention in court on Wednesday for further investigation.

The investigation, which is being conducted by the inter-organizational headquarters in the Judea and Samaria district in cooperation with the Shin Bet security agency, concerns a serious incident that occurred in the Palestinian village of Kusra. As part of the investigation, several arrest warrants have been issued against suspects involved in the incident, and the joint team continues to work to locate and arrest all those involved.

The suspect who surrendered joins a series of arrests made in connection with the investigation. According to the police, seven suspects have been arrested to date, and more than ten suspects have been questioned. Additionally, vehicles suspected of being used by the perpetrators during the act have been seized. Police and the Shin Bet are continuing their efforts to gather evidence and collect testimonies.

The suspect arrested on Tuesday is expected to appear in court on Wednesday, where police will seek to extend his detention for the ongoing investigation.
