Shua Denies Reports of Rift with Coach Cohen, Emphasizes Mutual Respect

Jerusalem football club Beitar Jerusalem and its star player, Jordan Shua, have issued a statement to quell recent media reports suggesting tension between Shua and his coach, Almog Cohen. The club and player assert that their relationship is built on mutual respect and open communication.

Shua, who also serves as the team's captain, stated, "From the beginning of the season, the most important thing for me is Beitar Jerusalem's success. Even if there are games where I don't play, when I'm on the field, I give my all, as I have done since the start of the season." He added, "We have an excellent team, and I am proud to be its captain. My relationship with Almog is accompanied by many conversations, open and honest, and of course, mutual respect. I am at the coach's disposal whenever he needs me, and for me, the club's welfare is always above all else."

The statement aims to clarify the situation amidst what the club described as "dry facts far from reality" being reported by individuals claiming to know the inner workings of the locker room. Both Shua and the club emphasized that they are in frequent communication, including over the past week, and that the player is committed to the team's success regardless of his playing time.
