Reality Star Inbar Boblil Raises NIS 4 Million for Needy Families
Inbar Boblil, who first gained fame on the Israeli version of "Big Brother" in 2008, has transitioned from a controversial television personality to one of Israel's most influential social media figures. With hundreds of thousands of followers, Boblil has leveraged her Instagram platform not just for commercial endorsements but also for significant community outreach and fundraising.
Over the years, she has consistently supported social initiatives, including fundraising for food baskets, organizing mass challah baking events, and aiding soldiers and residents of southern Israel. Her efforts have cultivated a loyal community that actively participates in her calls to action.
Recently, Rabbi Yoshiyahu Pinto revealed the scale of Boblil's charitable work during Yom Kippur prayers. He disclosed that within a six-month period, Boblil and her online community successfully raised and distributed approximately NIS 4 million (around $1.1 million USD) to underprivileged families in preparation for the High Holidays.
Rabbi Pinto lauded Boblil's direct and transparent model of aid, calling it "NIS 4 million of charity from producer to consumer, without intermediary gaps, all pure, clean, and clear." He described her as "a great righteous woman whose entire life is dedicated to God and the Torah," capable of inspiring many to perform good deeds.
Despite the praise and the substantial sum raised, Boblil maintained a humble approach. When sharing a video of Rabbi Pinto's remarks on her Instagram, she attributed the success to her followers, summarizing the achievement with the simple phrase, "Ours together."
