Bar Refaeli to Host Ninja Israel and Earn More Than Half a Million Shekels per Season

Model and presenter Bar Refaeli is set to take over hosting duties on the reality competition Ninja Israel, replacing Assi Azar and Rotem Sela, according to a report first flagged by Walla Celebs less than a month ago. Refaeli also joined the panel of The Masked Singer a few months ago.

According to estimates published by journalist Ran Boker, Refaeli will earn more than half a million shekels for the season. The upcoming season is expected to include about 20 episodes.

Filming will take place in southern Israel this time, rather than at Haifa Port, where previous seasons were shot. It is still unclear whether Refaeli will host alone or will be joined by another presenter.

Ninja Israel first aired in Israel about eight years ago. For five seasons it was hosted by Azar and Sela alongside commentators Niv Raskin and Rotem Israel, who was later replaced by Olympic champion Yarden Gerbi after moving to rival Channel 13. Production was paused in recent years because of the security situation, and filming of the sixth season is due to begin soon.
