Coca-Cola Diner Pop-Up Returns to Tel Aviv with Celebrity Chefs

Coca-Cola's popular diner pop-up event is returning to Tel Aviv's Hangar 11 for four days during the intermediate days of Sukkot, from September 29 to October 2. The event, which was successful last year, aims to recreate the atmosphere of a classic American diner, complete with neon lights, live music, and food.

This year's iteration features a lineup of notable Israeli chefs who have been tasked with putting their personal spin on American classics. Chef Haim Cohen will offer crispy wings with his iconic sauce and a beef sandwich, while Moshik Roth will serve a burger with red bun and Dutch fries. Guy Gamzo is presenting an Asian-inspired chicken teriyaki sandwich and chili con carne, Yarden Shi will offer a pretzel hot dog, and pastry chef Moran Gil will be responsible for desserts, including a lemon tart and Lotus crunch.

In addition to the food, each evening will feature live performances by musical artists such as Shira Zarfati and Liran Danino, Peled and Agam Buhbut, Yasmin Moalem and Ran Danker, and Noam Baton. All dishes served at the event will be kosher, with vegan and gluten-free options available. The event is open to ages 16 and up.

Tickets cost 57 shekels and include one dish and a can of Coca-Cola. Additional dishes can be purchased separately. The venue will also include a kosher sukkah for those observing the holiday. All food will be served in disposable containers, and proceeds from recycling machines will be donated to the "Leket" organization.
