IDF Restricts Access to Training Zones During Sukkot Holiday
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that access to some training areas, known as "fire zones," in the southern part of the country will be limited during the Sukkot holiday. This decision was made due to the "operational situation" and following an assessment of the circumstances, according to an IDF spokesperson.
While some areas will remain closed, the IDF indicated that limited entry for hikers will be permitted in certain designated training zones.
