Motorcyclist Dies in Collision With Truck Near Nokdim
A motorcyclist, approximately 60 years old, was killed Tuesday morning in a traffic accident on Route 398 near the Nokdim junction in the Gush Etzion region. Emergency medical teams arriving at the scene found the rider without signs of life and pronounced him dead.
The accident involved the motorcycle and a truck. Haim Mizrahi, a paramedic with United Hatzalah, stated, "This is an accident involving a truck and a motorcyclist. Unfortunately, the rider was pronounced dead at the scene due to the severe injuries he sustained."
MDA paramedic Eilon Cohen described the scene: "The motorcyclist was lying on the side of the road, unconscious, without a pulse or breathing, with multi-system trauma. Nearby, we saw the motorcycle was crushed." He added, "We performed medical examinations, but the injury was very severe, and unfortunately, we had to pronounce him dead at the scene."
The circumstances of the accident are currently under investigation.
