Israel Weather Forecast: Warm Temperatures Persist Through Week
Israel is expected to experience warm weather on Tuesday, September 22, with temperatures slightly decreasing by one to two degrees Celsius in the continental part of the country. Despite the slight drop, daytime temperatures will remain hot, and nighttime temperatures will still be unseasonably warm.
Water temperatures at the country's beaches will be as follows: the Mediterranean Sea will reach 29 degrees Celsius with moderate to strong waves ranging from 50 to 90 cm. The Sea of Galilee (Kinneret) will have water temperatures of 31 degrees Celsius with weak to moderate waves of 30 to 60 cm. In the Red Sea's Eilat Bay, the water will be 28 degrees Celsius with weak waves of 20 to 40 cm.
Air temperatures across various cities include: Jerusalem 28°C day/18°C night; Tel Aviv 30°C day/25°C night; Haifa 29°C day/22°C night; Eilat 37°C day/27°C night; and the Dead Sea (Ein Gedi) 34°C day/25°C night. Other cities like Ariel, Netanya, Ashdod, and Ashkelon will see daytime highs around 30°C.
Looking ahead, a slight warming of one degree is anticipated for Wednesday, with temperatures remaining unchanged on Thursday.
