IDF Strikes Hamas Infrastructure in Gaza After Ceasefire Violation
The Israeli military conducted airstrikes on Hamas infrastructure in the Gaza Strip on Monday in response to a violation of the ceasefire agreement. The strikes targeted infrastructure used by the terror organization to advance terror plots against Israeli civilians and soldiers. The IDF stated that the incident began when an engineering vehicle crossed the "yellow line" (a buffer zone) in Gaza and detonated an explosive device. No Israeli soldiers were harmed in the incident. The IDF declared this a blatant violation of the ceasefire by Hamas. Forces from the Southern Command are deployed in the area according to the agreement and will continue to operate to remove any threat.
