Hamas Delegation Consults Palestinian Factions in Cairo
A Hamas delegation is holding a series of consultations with various Palestinian factions in Cairo to discuss "current political issues," according to Palestinian sources. The delegation is reportedly led by Housam Badran, a member of Hamas's political bureau and head of its national relations bureau. Other members include Ghazi Hamad, Ali Baraka, Suhail al-Hindi, and Mahmoud al-Ramlawi.
Meetings have already taken place with representatives from the Islamic Jihad movement, the Democratic Renewal current within Fatah, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, the Palestinian movement Al-Ahrar, the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine, and several other groups.
