Family Seeks Answers on 3 Youths Missing in Egypt for 6 Months

Six months after three young men disappeared in Egypt while on holiday for Eid al-Fitr, their families remain without clear information about their fate. Fadi Hassan Al-Masoudin, a relative, stated on "First News" radio that despite ongoing efforts with lawyers and official bodies, no concrete details have emerged.

Al-Masoudin described one of the missing men as 27 or 28 years old, married with two children. The family has attempted to ascertain the young men's whereabouts and the hotel they stayed in, but these inquiries have yielded no definitive answers. The uncertainty extends to whether the individuals are alive or deceased, with the prolonged silence raising significant concerns.

The family's lawyer, Al-Sana, has been involved since the first week of the disappearance, contacting the President, Prime Minister's office, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Al-Masoudin personally followed up with the Israeli Foreign Ministry for two months, receiving assurances of contact if new information surfaced, but none has.

Efforts to engage Egyptian and Israeli authorities have not produced any new leads. The family has appealed to the media and officials, expressing hope for any sign that the young men are alive. Al-Masoudin lamented a lack of official engagement on the case, emphasizing the family's continued wait for any information to resolve the ongoing mystery.
