Israeli Arab Lawmaker Appeals to Egypt Over Missing Negev Youths
Walid Al-Hawaashla, a Member of Knesset for the United Arab List, has urgently appealed to Egyptian leadership and authorities to investigate the fate of three young men from the Negev who have been missing for several months. The youths, identified as Bilal Hassan Masoudin Al-Walidi, Bilal Salam Al-Afshak, and Ahmed Odeh Al-Dugi, were last heard from on March 20th while in the Egyptian tourist city of Sharm El Sheikh.
Al-Hawaashla expressed deep concern over the prolonged silence, noting that the families have received no official information regarding their sons' whereabouts or well-being. He emphasized the severe distress and constant anxiety the families are enduring.
The lawmaker urged Egyptian officials to intervene swiftly with the relevant bodies to uncover the young men's fate, enable them to contact their families, and alleviate the families' ongoing suffering and worry.
