Palestinian Gunman Captured in Ramallah Hospital After Attack
Following an extensive manhunt, the Palestinian gunman who opened fire with an automatic weapon near Halamish was apprehended in Ramallah. Intelligence indicated the suspect had checked into a local hospital, claiming to have been injured in a traffic accident. The attacker, who sustained no injuries during the shooting, wounded several people before fleeing on foot. He apparently planned to hide in the hospital, believing security forces would search the surrounding areas rather than a medical facility in the city center. However, the General Security Service received information about a man matching the suspect's description being admitted to the emergency room. Security forces then proceeded to Ramallah to make the arrest. The suspect is currently undergoing interrogation.
