Former Israeli Star Yaakov Hillel Appointed Professional Advisor to Hapoel Acre

Hapoel Acre, currently last in the National League, has appointed former Israeli football star Yaakov Hillel as a professional advisor. Hillel, one of Israel's most decorated footballers, will take on both managerial and professional roles within the club, aiming to help the team recover from a poor start to the season. He will also be present on the team's bench during matches, contributing his extensive experience. Last season, Hillel served in a similar capacity with Hapoel Modi'in under coach Erez Ben-Nudis.

In addition to Hillel's appointment, Hapoel Acre plans to resume discussions with Omer Dahan, who is expected to return from a lengthy suspension, and Roi Zikri, who has concluded his time at Bnei Reineh. The club has also signed defender Souleymane Coulibaly, who is set to arrive in Israel next week for his second stint in Israeli football. Coulibaly previously played for Hapoel Hadera in the Premier League but was released after unsuccessful spells in both the top flight and the National League.
