Hapoel Acre Appoints Soccer Legend Yaakov Hillel as Professional Advisor

Hapoel Acre, currently last in the National League, has appointed Yaakov Hillel as its professional advisor. The club hopes Hillel, a decorated figure in Israeli soccer history, will help them recover from a poor start to the season. He will take on both managerial and professional roles, contributing his extensive experience to coach Lior Dahan, similar to his work last season with Erez Ben-Nudis in Modi'in. Hillel will also be present on the team's bench during matches.

In addition to Hillel's appointment, the club plans to advance discussions after Yom Kippur with Omer Dahan, who is expected to return from a lengthy suspension, and with Roey Zikri, who concluded a settlement. Hapoel Acre has also signed defender Souleymane Coulibaly, who is set to arrive next week for his second stint in Israeli football. His previous tenure in Israel saw him released after unsuccessful periods with Hapoel Hadera in the Premier League and in the National League.
