Former Israeli Star Yaakov Hillel Appointed Professional Advisor to Hapoel Acre

Hapoel Acre, currently last in the National League, has appointed former Israeli football star Yaakov Hillel as a professional advisor. Hillel, one of Israel's most decorated players, will take on both managerial and professional roles within the club. His mandate is to help the team recover from a poor start to the season. He will also contribute his extensive experience to coach Lior De Kalbo, similar to his role last season with Eran Ben-Naim in Modi'in. Hillel is expected to be present on the team's bench during matches.

In addition to Hillel's appointment, the club plans to advance discussions with Omer Dahan, who is expected to return from a lengthy suspension, and Roi Zikri, who has finished his time at Bnei Yehuda. Hapoel Acre has also signed defender Souleymane Coulibaly, who is set to arrive in Israel next week for his second stint in Israeli football. Coulibaly previously played for Hapoel Hadera in the Premier League but was released after unsuccessful spells in both the top flight and the National League.
