East Jerusalem Man Charged in Fatal Shooting of Hussein Dar Issa

An indictment has been filed against Abd Awdah, a resident of Silwan in East Jerusalem, accusing him of murdering Hussein Dar Issa in the neighborhood in late June. According to the indictment, Awdah also shot and moderately wounded the victim's brother.

The suspect was apprehended less than a month ago after being found hiding in an apartment in Hebron. The charges detail that Awdah allegedly fired shots at Dar Issa, resulting in his death, and then fired at the victim's brother, who sustained moderate injuries.

Authorities located Awdah in Hebron following an investigation into the shooting incident. The indictment was submitted to the court, initiating the legal proceedings against him.
