Two Suspects Arrested in Hebron for East Jerusalem Murder

Israeli police arrested two suspects in Hebron overnight in connection with the murder of Hussein Issa two months ago in the Silwan neighborhood of East Jerusalem. Issa was shot and killed during a brawl, during which his brother was moderately injured. Police stated that the manhunt for additional suspects is ongoing, adding that "over the past weeks, covert operational activity was carried out to locate and arrest the suspects in the murder case, which is being managed by the Jerusalem District Detective Unit."

Forces from Unit 33 of Lahav 433 and agents from the "Het Yehuda" unit of the Judea and Samaria District traced the whereabouts of two of the main suspects and apprehended them in the heart of Hebron. The two suspects are young men in their 20s from East Jerusalem.
