Sarrit Haddad Celebrates 30 Years with Landmark Tel Aviv Concerts

Israeli pop superstar Sarrit Haddad marked her 30-year career milestone with two massive concerts at Tel Aviv's Park Hayarkon this past week, performing for an estimated 60,000 fans. The initial show sold out rapidly, prompting the addition of a second performance.

Haddad described the event not as a career summation, but a celebration. "After all this hard work, today I really want to enjoy myself," she told Channel 12 News shortly before taking the stage. The nearly two-and-a-quarter-hour show was structured as a journey through her career's key moments, featuring a large band and dancers performing her biggest hits and showcasing the various musical styles she has explored over the decades.

Several guest artists joined Haddad onstage, including Subliminal and HaTzel for a reunion performance of their 20-year-old hit "Ha'Sod." Ilan Peled and Sharif also performed with her, with Sharif recalling Haddad as his "warm-up singer" and someone he "nurtured" early in her career. They sang their duet "Shalom Haver."

A particularly emotional moment for Haddad was sharing the stage with her nine-year-old daughter, Noya. Noya, who Haddad described as a "real star" and a talented dancer, performed alongside her mother and sang the song "Hek Me'Meni," which was written about her. Haddad expressed immense pride and emotion, telling Noya, "You deserve this, you are amazing." Noya simply called the experience "the most fun in the world."

Haddad's sister-in-law, Rina Hodadov, was also in attendance, reflecting on Haddad's journey from a "little girl with a big dream" to becoming Israel's "biggest singer." Haddad concluded the concerts not by looking back, but by signaling the beginning of her next chapter.
