Sarrit Haddad's Tel Aviv Concert Nets Millions, Details Emerge

Israeli singer Sarrit Haddad celebrated 30 years in music with a major concert at Tel Aviv's Yarkon Park on Wednesday. The event, which sold out quickly, featured a seated arena setup for approximately 22,000 attendees, a departure from typical standing-room concerts.

Ticket prices ranged from NIS 229 to NIS 499, generating an estimated gross revenue of NIS 7.5 to 8.5 million. However, this figure is before significant deductions. Value-added tax (VAT) is estimated at NIS 1.15 to 1.3 million, and production costs, including infrastructure, security, personnel, and artistic and technical teams, are estimated between NIS 4.5 and 5.5 million. Additional expenses for royalties, musicians, and promotion are estimated at NIS 700,000 to 1 million.

After accounting for VAT and production costs, the net profit before income tax is estimated at around NIS 2 million. This amount is not solely for Haddad, as it is divided among the singer, her management, and the producers according to their commercial agreements. The exact amount Haddad will personally earn remains undisclosed without details of these contracts, though it represents a substantial potential income from a single event.

In parallel, the police managed security for the concert held at Ganei Yehoshua. Tel Aviv District Police, along with additional forces, ushers, and security guards, ensured public order and managed traffic. Road closures around the venue began around 8:30 PM, and attendees were advised to use public transportation, which was augmented for the event.
