Nova Massacre Victim's Mother Confronts Ex-IDF Intel Chief Haliva

Shelly Meshel Yogev, the mother of Lihi Cohen Guri, who was murdered at the Nova music festival on October 7th, released footage of a chance encounter with former head of Military Intelligence, Aharon Haliva. In the video, Meshel Yogev confronts Haliva, saying, "You know who I am, you live a kilometer from us. Three years since she was murdered, you haven't bothered to come." She stated that the Chief of Staff at the time of the massacre, Herzi Halevi, had called the family, asked to visit, and "arrived with a humiliated look."

Meshel Yogev challenged Haliva, asking, "You have no problem finding out about an Intelligence Corps officer, a mission manager in the Southern Command. You have no problem calling Southern Command and saying, 'Tell me who Lihi was.' You can do that in a second, right?" She wrote alongside the video, "There are people here whose duty it is to provide answers, who should be ashamed to walk the streets, who should think twice before leaving the house and whom they will meet outside, who should stop and hug those whose lives stopped on October 7th, and certainly not answer them in a shameful and dismissive manner."
