Hapoel Acre Interested in Signing Veteran Midfielder Liran Sardal
Hapoel Acre, a team in Israel's second-tier Liga Leumit, has expressed interest in signing veteran midfielder Liran Sardal. Sardal, who spent 13 years with Hapoel Haifa and is considered a club symbol, became a free agent this past summer when his contract was not renewed. He has yet to find a new team.
Hapoel Acre is looking to strengthen its midfield and sees Sardal as a suitable addition. Club management reportedly values the player and believes he can contribute significantly. As of now, Sardal is reportedly contemplating whether to accept the offer from Hapoel Acre.
During his extensive tenure with Hapoel Haifa, Sardal won one title, the State Cup in the 2017/18 season. He made a total of 334 appearances across all competitions for the club, scoring 22 goals and providing 19 assists.
