Hapoel Be'er Sheva Considers Signing Midfielder Yarin Levi Amid Injury Concerns

Hapoel Be'er Sheva is reportedly considering a move to sign Yarin Levi from Maccabi Haifa, a midfielder who has also attracted interest from Beitar Jerusalem. The potential transfer comes as Hapoel Be'er Sheva faces uncertainty over the long-term availability of Lucas Ventura, who was substituted early in their recent 4-1 loss to Maccabi Tel Aviv due to injury. The team is also experiencing a shortage of midfielders.

If Levi were to join Hapoel Be'er Sheva, he would not be eligible to play in the Europa League, as the registration deadline for the competition has passed. However, the club is still exploring the possibility, contingent on Maccabi Haifa's agreement to the transfer. The severity of Ventura's injury remains unclear.

Beitar Jerusalem has also expressed strong interest in bringing Levi back to the club. Almog Cohen of Beitar Jerusalem stated, "Yarin Levi is a player we really like. If it were up to me, I would really want him, but I don't think Maccabi Haifa is open to talking about him right now."

Earlier reports indicated that Maccabi Haifa might be willing to let the young midfielder go, especially since he was not included in the squad for their match against Hapoel Petah Tikva. However, Maccabi Haifa would prefer to receive a player in return rather than a cash payment.
