Ovad Buzaglo Hospitalized for Psychiatric Evaluation, Released
Former Israeli soccer player Ovad Buzaglo was voluntarily admitted to Abarbanel Medical Center for psychiatric evaluation on Thursday, September 26th. He announced his hospitalization on Instagram, stating he was admitted "with consent" and later reassured followers that he had been released. Buzaglo told Mako Sports that his hospitalization was to give people a "taste of a world full of wonders" and urged them to "prepare for great chaos, not to fear! Believe. And then life is a dream including resurrection of the dead and eternal life."
According to Mako, Buzaglo sought the evaluation at the request of two friends to determine if he suffered from schizophrenia. Medical staff at the institution officially diagnosed him as not having schizophrenia, and he was subsequently discharged. Buzaglo is a former player known for his time in Israeli soccer leagues.
