Hostage Survivor Roam Bar-Levavsky Slams Journalist Raviv Drucker

A sharp public dispute erupted between hostage survivor Roam Bar-Levavsky and Channel 13 journalist Raviv Drucker, following comments Drucker made on air. Drucker criticized Bar-Levavsky for attacking activists and protesters who demonstrated on his behalf, calling his behavior "insulting." Drucker suggested Bar-Levavsky had a "chain of immunity" due to his ordeal in Hamas captivity, allowing him to support political figures like Netanyahu and Ben-Gvir, but questioned why he was attacking those who fought for his release.

Drucker also played archival footage of Bar-Levavsky's father, Ofir Bar-Levavsky, criticizing the Prime Minister during the campaign for his son's freedom, implying a desire to hear such sentiments again. This remark deeply angered Roam Bar-Levavsky, who responded forcefully on social media.

Bar-Levavsky accused Drucker of being a "worthless zero" and questioned why Drucker didn't include criticisms from activist Hagai Levi against him, nor address Alon-Li Green's comments normalizing the "occupation." Bar-Levavsky stated he would retaliate against any attacks and accused Drucker of seeking sensationalist stories, calling him a "traitor to Israel."

In a video response, Bar-Levavsky clarified that Green had not protested for him and rejected Drucker's framing of the situation as an "occupation." He asserted that he attacks those who attack him and has received hate messages from protesters at Hostages Square. Bar-Levavsky also criticized Drucker for interviewing Yuval Avraham, whom he described as directing an "anti-Semitic film," and accused Drucker of changing his tune after Bar-Levavsky refused an interview, calling him a "two-bit journalist."
