Man Found Dead in Ashkelon with Signs of Violence

A man, approximately 30 years old, was discovered deceased on Yefe Nof Street in Ashkelon early Friday morning. Emergency medical services (Magen David Adom) were dispatched to the scene after receiving a report at 1:32 AM. Responders found the man lying on the sidewalk, unconscious, without a pulse or breathing. He exhibited severe blunt force trauma. Paramedics attempted resuscitation efforts but were ultimately forced to pronounce him dead at the scene. MDA paramedic Hila Bizaui stated that the man was apparently involved in a violent incident. Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding his death.
