Man Found Dead After Violence Incident in Ashkelon

A man in his 30s was found dead on a sidewalk in Ashkelon early Friday morning following a violent incident. Emergency medical services arrived at the scene on Yefe Nof Street, where they found the man unconscious and without vital signs. After attempting resuscitation, they were forced to declare him deceased. Paramedic Hila Bizaui of Magen David Adom described finding the man on the sidewalk, apparently after being involved in violence, and stated that he was unresponsive, without a pulse or breathing.

This incident follows another suspected murder earlier in the week in Jaffa, where a 28-year-old man was killed. Police opened an investigation into that incident on Rubenstein Street, and a suspect in his 20s was arrested in connection with the shooting. The victim in the Jaffa case was reportedly shot and later died at Wolfson Hospital. Tel Aviv District Police conducted searches for suspects and collected evidence at that scene, leading to the arrest of the young man who was transferred for further investigation.
