Israel is reportedly engaged in discreet, "under the radar" discussions with Kuwait, a Muslim nation with which it does not have official diplomatic relations. The talks, which emerged amid escalating tensions with Iran, focus on shared security challenges and potential responses to regional threats, according to a source familiar with the matter cited by "Kan News" on Thursday.

A former Kuwaiti minister suggested that cooperation with Israel could be mutually beneficial, describing it as a "win-win" scenario for Gulf states to counter common adversaries and maintain regional security and stability. He noted that the current regional reality has shifted how Gulf nations perceive threats, implying that Iran is a clear common enemy.

These developments gain further significance following remarks by Israel's Ambassador to the UAE, Yossi Shelley, who stated this week that another country is expected to join the Abraham Accords within months. Shelley specifically raised the possibility that Kuwait could be the "next swallow," hinting at a potential normalization agreement.
