Kuwait in Quiet Talks With Israel Amid Iranian Threats

A former Kuwaiti minister told Kan News that cooperation between Gulf states and Israel would be a "win-win" scenario, aimed at countering shared adversaries and ensuring regional security and stability. He emphasized that Iran's ongoing attacks against Gulf nations, contrasted with Israel's actions against Iranian military capabilities, clearly identify Iran as the common enemy.

This development follows remarks made by Israel's Ambassador to the UAE, Yossi Shelley, who suggested that another country is expected to join the Abraham Accords within months, hinting that Kuwait might be the next signatory. Shelley's comments, made to Kan News's Reshet Bet, generated significant attention in Kuwait, a country that publicly maintains a hostile stance towards Israel.

Kuwait has recently become a focal point for Iranian attacks, according to reports. An interview with a Kuwaiti journalist who advocates for peace with Israel also highlighted that Kuwait is currently targeted by Tehran.
