Protesters Target Parents of 'NAZA' Film Co-Director for Second Night

Dozens of protesters gathered for a second consecutive evening outside the home of Rachel Shor, co-director of the film "NAZA," in Savion. Demonstrators held signs reading "Betrayal of the memory of fallen soldiers" and "Expelling traitors," while chanting "shame," "traitors," and "death penalty" at the filmmakers. Public activist Mordechai David, known for confronting left-wing figures, was present and stated he and others were seeking the address of the parents of Yuval Avraham, another co-director, vowing to pursue the filmmakers upon their return from abroad, according to Times of Israel.

Sources familiar with the protest's organization, cited by Israel Hayom, indicated that activists and staff from the "Otzma Yehudit" party's election headquarters were among the participants. The newspaper also reported that social media messages inciting violence circulated hours before the demonstration. Police have increased their presence at the location.

The film "NAZA" alleges that the Israeli military systematically used artificial intelligence to select targets in Gaza after October 7, resulting in a high number of civilian casualties. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have denied these accusations. Despite the film being seen by few, it has sparked significant public debate, with many politicians criticizing its creators. The Israeli Film Council has demanded an urgent screening, and the Minister of Culture has vowed to revoke citizenship for the filmmakers, calling the film "shameful."

The Israeli Council for Cinema warned that withholding the film from professional organizations in Israel suggests it might be fabricated and serve Israel's enemies, particularly Hamas. The IDF has also requested a full copy of "NAZA" to address the criticisms within it.
