Dixon Mohammed Scores on Debut for Hapoel Afula
Dixon Mohammed, the younger brother of Maccabi Haifa's Ali Mohammed, scored on his debut for Hapoel Afula in a match against Kfar Shalem. The goal, which was the equalizer, came from a long-range shot that deflected off an opposing player before finding the net.
Mohammed, who is 13 years younger than his brother Ali, was recently loaned to the National League team from Maccabi Haifa. He had previously trained with Maccabi Haifa's senior squad under coach Barak Bakhar and had been monitored by the club for some time.
His initial connection with Maccabi Haifa began nearly two years ago, in July 2024, when his brother Ali, who is not considered a foreign player, acted as his guardian. Last season, Dixon trained with the youth team that competed in the Champions League but did not play in official matches.
