Maccabi Haifa Loans Youngster Dickson Mohammed to Hapoel Afula

Maccabi Haifa has officially loaned 18-year-old midfielder Dickson Mohammed to Hapoel Afula for the upcoming season. Mohammed, who is the younger brother of Maccabi Haifa player Ali Mohammed, recently signed a long-term professional contract with the club. He will gain playing experience in the National League, the second tier of Israeli football.

Mohammed, 13 years younger than his brother Ali, has been monitored by Maccabi Haifa for an extended period. He participated in training sessions with the senior team under coach Barak Bakhar. The club noted that Dickson's playing style is very similar to his brother's, characterized by physicality and the ability to initiate quick attacks from midfield. He can play multiple midfield positions, typically as a number 6 or 8, and has also been tested as a left winger.

Last season, Mohammed trained with Maccabi Haifa's youth team, which competed in the Champions League, though he did not play in official matches. His initial connection with the club dates back to July 2024, with his brother Ali previously serving as his guardian.
