New Maccabi Haifa Loan Signing Scores on Debut for Hapoel Afula

Dixon Mohamed, the younger brother of Maccabi Haifa player Ali Mohamed, scored on his debut for Hapoel Afula, a team he is currently loaned to. The goal, which leveled the score at 2-2 during the match against Kfar Shalem on Thursday, was a long-range shot that deflected off an opponent before finding the net. The game ultimately ended in a 3-3 draw.

Dixon, who is 13 years younger than his brother Ali, had been training with Maccabi Haifa's senior team under coach Barak Bakhar. The club had been monitoring his progress for some time before loaning him to the National League team approximately a week ago.

Maccabi Haifa's initial connection with Dixon Mohamed dates back to July 2024, nearly two years prior. His brother Ali, who is not considered a foreign player for the team, previously served as his guardian. During the past season, Dixon trained with the youth team, which had a successful Champions League campaign, though he did not play in official matches.
