The story · English

Veteran advertiser Shmuel Warschawski, a founding partner of the Adler, Chomsky & Warschawski advertising group, will be honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the Israel Brand Award competition, organized by Brand Academy and led by Yariv Amit. The event, now in its third year, is scheduled for November 19 at Cinema City Glilot.

Warschawski, 91, is being recognized for over six decades of work, during which he has been described as an "architect of brands and a compass for businesses." The award citation also hails him as a "witness, creator, and cultural revolutionary, a marketing pioneer who began writing value visions for companies and embedding values into branding processes."

The brand competition received approximately 210 entries across 14 categories, including food, beverages, real estate, retail, and capital markets. Finalists were selected by a panel of 26 judges from various fields, including academia, marketing, branding, design, and advertising. Judging criteria included strategic depth, creativity and uniqueness, visual and verbal language, and applicability and continuity, with scoring based on brand strategy (30%), brand language, creativity, brand experience, customer journey, impact (60%), and exceptional originality (10%).

Notable finalists in the real estate category include ZOA Tel Aviv, White, Migdal Ma'ase, and the Omer Local Council. In the capital markets category, finalists include Playcard, BKRT, Ginger, Bit, and Migdal.

Amit stated that the Israel Brand Award was created to provide a professional and significant platform for Israeli branding efforts, emphasizing its role in fostering a culture of excellence, raising industry standards, and connecting professionals and brands. He highlighted the competition's unique ability to acknowledge the power of branding to influence businesses, organizations, and culture, providing local initiatives with deserved recognition and exposure.
