Reisdor Group Plans Major Commercial and Logistics Hub in Elad
Reisdor Group has secured rights to a new plot of land in Elad for a significant commercial and employment project, with an estimated investment of approximately NIS 900 million (around $245 million USD). The company won a tender from the Israel Land Authority for the leasehold rights to the 7,543 square meter plot, located near two other plots already owned by Reisdor.
The new site comes with building rights for approximately 60,000 square meters of employment space and 1,697 square meters for commerce. Reisdor will pay about NIS 26.8 million plus VAT for the lease, in addition to NIS 8.9 million in development costs. This acquisition allows the company to consolidate a substantial contiguous land area in the region.
Reisdor plans to seek the necessary permits to develop an integrated project spanning roughly 18 dunams (about 4.5 acres). The development, situated near Highway 6, a major transportation artery, is expected to include a logistics center alongside office and retail spaces. The company aims to create a long-term, multi-use complex.
Yaki Reisner, Chairman and Owner of Reisdor, stated that the new plot enables the company to significantly expand its operations in Elad and connect its existing lands into a single complex. He highlighted the strategic location near Highway 6 for its accessibility and the project's potential, emphasizing the synergy between logistics, employment, and commerce. Reisner added that the company will continue to seek opportunities to strengthen its growth engines and expand its activities.
