Minister Wassarlaff Slams Aides Leaking MK Milvitzky Video

Minister Yitzhak Wassarlaff of the Otzma Yehudit party expressed strong disapproval on Thursday regarding a leaked video from the office of Likud MK Chanoch Milvitzky. The video shows Milvitzky complaining to his staff about their lack of responsiveness and perceived disrespect for their work.

Wassarlaff, echoing sentiments of many commentators, condemned the leakers, calling their actions a "disgraceful" way to tarnish their employer. He stated, "I have to get this out because it's really weighing on my heart. I despise ingratitude. You were given a position of trust. Someone chose you, trusted you, brought you into his office and gave you a place and a livelihood."

He questioned the staff's behavior, particularly their alleged failure to answer phones after Milvitzky's political future became uncertain, while they were still receiving salaries. "And to release a video that embarrasses the MK you still work for? I really can't understand it," Wassarlaff said.

Wassarlaff acknowledged that staff members are allowed to be disappointed or angry and to leave their positions, but emphasized the importance of gratitude and loyalty. "Where is the good recognition? Where is a little loyalty? Where is the respect for the person who trusted you?" he asked.

Concluding his remarks, the minister added, "Precisely when the interest ends, you see who stands before you. And people who, the moment they have nothing more to get from you, turn their backs on you, that is something I simply cannot respect. It angers me and it mainly disappoints me. Shame on you. Truly."
