Uri Sala Joins Kan 11 as Central Region Correspondent

Uri Sala, a journalist who spent the last six years at the Walla! news site, announced Thursday he is joining the Israeli Public Broadcasting Corporation, Kan 11, as the correspondent for the Central Region. Sala recently bid farewell to his colleagues at Walla!, expressing gratitude to the editors, reporters, and producers he worked with.

In a post on X, formerly Twitter, Sala shared his excitement for this new career chapter. "Excited to announce I've taken on the role of Central Region correspondent," he wrote. "Thanks to the corporation's staff for their trust. Available on all platforms to hear about what's important to tell."

In his new capacity at Kan 11, Sala will cover current events, crime, local authorities, and human interest stories in the Central Region for all of the broadcaster's platforms, including television, radio, and digital media.
