Golan Urges Opposition Unity to Oust Netanyahu Government

Yair Golan, chairman of the Democratic Party, has called for unity among opposition leaders, including Gadi Eisenkot, Naftali Bennett, and Ayelet Shaked, urging them to cease internal attacks. Golan stated that their sole mission is to rescue the country from what he termed the "government of massacre, evasion, and abandonment." He emphasized that internal rivalries and power struggles are secondary to the nation's well-being, asserting that "chairmanship games are not important, the country is."

Golan clarified that all opposition figures would endorse the same candidate for prime minister, revealing that he himself has already conceded his potential candidacy. He challenged the others to follow suit, stating, "Now it's your turn." Golan described the upcoming 40 days as the most critical in the country's history, highlighting the urgency of their collective action.
