Yeshiva Student Dies After Falling Four Stories in Bnei Brak
A yeshiva student, approximately 20 years old, died on Thursday after falling from a height of about four stories at the Beit Midrash Elyon yeshiva building on Uziyahu Street in Bnei Brak. The incident was reported to Magen David Adom (MDA) at 11:07 AM.
MDA paramedics and rescue volunteers who arrived at the scene found the young man in critical condition and immediately began extensive resuscitation efforts. Despite their efforts, medical personnel were forced to pronounce him dead at the scene.
"We received a report of a man who fell from a height. We arrived quickly and were led to the injured person. He was unconscious, without a pulse or breathing, with multi-system trauma. We performed medical checks and unfortunately had to pronounce him dead at the scene," said MDA emergency medical technicians Moshe Indig and Aharon Sarig.
The circumstances surrounding the fall are currently under investigation by the relevant authorities. The tragedy has cast a pall of mourning over the yeshiva community.
