Israel National Team Squad Announced for Nations League Campaign
Israel national football team coach Ran Ben Shimon has announced his squad for the upcoming UEFA Nations League campaign, which includes four matches against Austria, Kosovo, and Ireland.
Notable inclusions in the 26-player roster are 18-year-old Maccabi Haifa defender Noam Steifman, making his senior debut, and Eliyahu Faingold, who rejoins the squad after previously refusing a call-up to the U-21 team in May 2025. Despite currently not playing for a club, Eli Dasa has also been included, as has Anan Khalaili, who plays for Crystal Palace in the Premier League.
In midfield, Oscar Gloukh of Ajax is recognized for his strong form, alongside regulars Moanes Dabbur and Dor Peretz. Omri Gandelman also makes the list despite limited playing time in Serie A this season. Netanel Levi will miss the matches due to injury.
The full squad includes goalkeepers Daniel Peretz, Omri Glazer, and Asaf Tzur. The defense features Dasa, Guy Mizey, Roy Revivo, Khalaili, Idan Nachmias, Faingold, Raz Shlomo, Nikita Stoyanov, and Steifman. The midfield comprises Yarin Levy, Eliel Peretz, Gloukh, Gabi Kanyukovsky, Dor Peretz, Gandelman, Eitan Azoulay, and Abu Fani. The forwards selected are Manor Solomon, Dor Turgeman, Idan Toklomati, Tai Baribo, Sayed Abu Farchi, Yarden Shua, and Liel Abada.
