Shin Bet Official's Story Dominates Ratings, Outshining Rival Shows

A television program featuring a senior Shin Bet official as its guest achieved the highest viewership ratings on Tuesday evening, drawing 12% of the audience and 312,000 viewers. The show, titled "Chasif" (Exposure) and hosted by Haim Etgar, focused on the official's personal account of the October 7th Hamas attacks, during which she resided in a kibbutz in the Gaza border region. She recounted her experiences, including the possibility of being taken captive and a specific, unusual order she issued for such a scenario.

In the prime-time competition, "HaPatriotim" (The Patriots) on Channel 14 secured second place with 6.6% viewership and 181,000 viewers. "HaMekor" (The Source) on Channel 13 followed with 5.6% and 148,000 viewers, while "Taboo" on Kan 11 garnered 3.8% and 113,000 viewers. Later in the evening, "Neshama Tzeama" (Thirsty Souls) on Channel 14 recorded 3.2% and 90,000 viewers.

In the news broadcasts, Channel 12's news program maintained its lead with 12.1% and 375,000 viewers, more than double the audience of Channel 14's news. Channel 14's news program ranked second with 5.7% and 164,000 viewers, Channel 13's news had 4.6% and 126,000, and Kan 11's news concluded with 2.8% and 93,000 viewers.

During the late-night programming block, "Intimi" on Keshet 12 led with 4.8% and 115,000 viewers. "Hadashot HaLayla" (Night News) on Kan 11 achieved 2.2% and 80,000 viewers, "Leket HaTzinor" (The Pipe's Compilation) on Channel 13 garnered 2.1% and 72,000, and "HaYom HaYaya" (The Day That Was) recorded 2% and 82,000 viewers. "Pithchi Et Shi" on Channel 14 finished the evening with 1.7% and 48,000 viewers.
