Hasidic Rebbes Mark High Holidays Across Israel

Numerous Hasidic communities across Israel celebrated Rosh Hashanah with their respective Rebbes, engaging in traditional prayers, gatherings, and celebratory events. In Jerusalem, the Admor of Lelov observed the holiday according to ancestral customs, with prayers continuing until sunset. The Admor of Pinsk Karlin led his followers in Jerusalem through prayer services and a "Tish" (reception with the Rebbe) where he also affixed a mezuzah to his new room. Thousands of Tolded Abraham Isaac Hasidim gathered in Jerusalem to celebrate Rosh Hashanah under their Rebbe's guidance, culminating in a "Tish" at the holiday's conclusion.

In Bnei Brak, the Admor of Vizhnitz, currently visiting from the United States, paid respects at the graves of Vizhnitz Rebbes and visited the Admor of Mahnovka Belz. The Admor of Slonim met with Rabbi Moshe Tzadka in Jerusalem, discussing the importance of sanctifying God's name in the struggle against conscription, with the Admor praising the firm stance of Sephardic sages against compromise.

Hasidic celebrations also included the inauguration of a new Beit Midrash (study hall) for the Nadvorna Hasidim in Jerusalem, marked by the Rebbe's presence, blessings, and a joyous dance. In Haifa, thousands of Seret Vizhnitz Hasidim celebrated Rosh Hashanah with their Rebbe, including a "Tish" and a "Chuppat Halachah" ceremony for the Rebbe's great-grandchildren.

Several Rebbes also underwent medical procedures around the holiday. The Admor of Vizhnitz was successfully discharged from Hadassah Medical Center after a cardiac procedure. The Admor of Modzitz underwent a heart catheterization after being hospitalized on Rosh Hashanah eve, with prayers requested for his recovery. The Admor of Vizhnitz also attended a joyous engagement celebration for his granddaughter in Elad.
