Mano Shipping Launches Mediterranean Cruises from Haifa Aboard Crown Iris
Mano Shipping is offering Mediterranean cruises departing from Haifa aboard the five-star "floating hotel" liner, Crown Iris. These cruises provide an alternative to traditional travel, allowing passengers to combine an international trip with onboard accommodation, three meals daily, entertainment, and visits to tourist cities without the hassle of flights or luggage transfers.
The Crown Iris, capable of hosting approximately 1800 passengers in its 750 cabins across 11 decks, features three restaurants offering diverse menus, including Russian, dietary, and vegetarian options. Amenities include bars, entertainment halls, pools, jacuzzis, a cinema, spa, duty-free shops, a casino, a gym, and a basketball court. The entertainment program is extensive, with daily shows, live music, and various activities catering to different preferences.
The company highlights that passengers can bring unlimited luggage, which is handled by the crew after check-in. The ship is staffed by around 650 international employees, including Russian speakers, and shore excursions with Russian-speaking guides can be arranged at ports of call. The cruises are designed for various demographics, including couples, families, and seniors.
Upcoming itineraries include a six-day cruise for Yom Kippur departing September 18, 2026, visiting Limassol, Rhodes, and Crete, starting at 659 euros. A seven-day cruise from October 29 will sail to Kos, Piraeus (Athens), Nafplion, and Syros, from 766 euros. A special 11-day cruise on November 29 will visit Kalamata, Souda Bay (Crete), Palermo, Catania, and Valletta, starting at 1132 euros. Two seven-day cruises in December, departing on the 20th and 27th, will follow a route including Syros, Volos (Meteora), and Piraeus (Athens), both starting at 716 euros, with the latter timed for New Year's celebrations.
