Pollster Warns "Change Bloc" Losing Support Due to Internal Strife

Political analyst Barak Sari issued a stark warning on Wednesday to the leaders of the "Change Bloc," citing a continuous decline in their electoral support. Sari stated that the bloc, which recently commanded 60 to 61 Knesset seats, has now fallen to around 53 to 54 seats, representing a loss of six to seven seats in just two months.

Sari attributed this weakening trend primarily to the bloc's internal focus on disputes and political maneuvering. "Apparently, dealing with internal bloc matters is driving voters away, and this is already a trend," he wrote. He also cautioned against messaging that suggests forming a government without a 61-seat majority.

While such statements may appeal to the bloc's core supporters, Sari argued they alienate undecided voters, particularly former Likud voters. He urged the bloc's leaders to shift their strategic focus away from inter-bloc politics and cease discussions centered on dividing the Knesset into blocs, stating, "Stop talking about bloc politics, it plays into Netanyahu's hands."

Furthermore, Sari suggested that discussions about potential cooperation with Ra'am party chairman Mansour Abbas benefit Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu by diverting attention from other critical issues. "Netanyahu wants to talk about whether Mansour Abbas is in or out," Sari noted. He concluded by asserting that Netanyahu prefers to avoid discussing the October 7th massacre and the issue of draft evasion by Haredi men.
