Maccabi Petah Tikva Defender Hendi Faces Transfer Decision

Mohamed Hendi, a key defender and former captain for Maccabi Petah Tikva, is in critical negotiations to terminate his contract with the club. The outcome is expected within the next few hours, as the transfer window deadline approaches.

Maccabi Petah Tikva has offered Hendi compensation equivalent to two months' salary for his release. However, Hendi is reportedly seeking three months' salary, which is currently stalling the agreement. If a deal is not reached before the transfer window closes, Hendi will remain with the club until January, despite not being part of the team's plans.

Hendi has garnered significant interest from other clubs. Hapoel Ra'anana, managed by Adam Lev, has expressed a strong desire to sign him, with Lev having informed his club's CEO of his interest. Additionally, Maccabi Yafo, Ironi Modi'in, and Hapoel Acre are also reportedly interested in acquiring the left-back.

Should Hendi secure his release before the deadline, he will be free to join any club. Even if the deadline passes without a resolution, he can still transfer after the window closes if he obtains the desired release from Maccabi Petah Tikva.
