Maccabi Petah Tikva Negotiates Player Departure Amid Transfer Window Deadline
Maccabi Petah Tikva's long-serving player, Mohammed Hindi, is in intensive negotiations with club official Avi Luzon regarding the termination of his contract. The club, which has offered Hindi compensation equivalent to two months' salary, is awaiting a resolution before the transfer window closes.
Hindi, who has captained the team and won the State Cup with them, is reportedly seeking three months' salary as severance. This financial disagreement is currently stalling the agreement for his release.
If a deal is not reached by the end of the transfer window, Hindi will remain with Maccabi Petah Tikva until January, despite not being part of the team's future plans. Several clubs have expressed interest in signing the left-back, including Hapoel Ra'anana, whose coach Adam Lev has specifically requested his addition. Maccabi Yafo, Ironi Modi'in, and Hapoel Acre are also reportedly interested.
Should Hindi secure his release, he will be eligible to join any team even after the transfer window has officially closed.
