Ayalon Almog Signs With Maccabi Netanya Ahead of Transfer Deadline
Midfielder Ayalon Almog has agreed to terms with Maccabi Netanya, signing a one-year contract with an option for an additional season. The deal was finalized on Wednesday evening, just before the transfer window for the Israeli Premier League closed.
Almog, who previously played for Maccabi Tel Aviv, struggled to establish himself as a key player. After a loan spell at MS Ashdod, he will now join Maccabi Netanya. He is set to receive compensation from Hapoel Be'er Sheva, from whom he will be released on a free transfer.
In related news, another Hapoel Be'er Sheva player, Roey Levi, is reportedly close to joining Hapoel Petah Tikva. Levi has also attracted interest from Ironi Kiryat Shmona but reportedly prefers a move to Petah Tikva due to financial considerations with Kiryat Shmona.
