Massive Fire Engulfs Beitar Illit, Emergency Services Battle Blaze

Extensive firefighting efforts are underway in Beitar Illit, a West Bank settlement city, following a large fire. Dozens of firefighters and fire trucks are battling the blaze, supported by firefighting aircraft from the Israel Police's 'Elad' squadron.

Numerous police forces from the Judea region are present in Beitar Illit to maintain public order amidst the ongoing firefighting operations. Commander of the Judea region police, Superintendent Eli Zeitoun, held a situation assessment with the commander of the Judea Fire and Rescue region and representatives of the local authority.

Zeitoun ordered the continuation of response efforts, emphasizing the need to secure the scene and allow firefighters unobstructed access to combat the fire. The police are urging the public to avoid the area to ensure clear passage for emergency vehicles.
