Jerusalem Rebbe Visits Father's Grave in Safed

By כיכר השבת, חיים רוזנבוים
Translated & summarized from Kikar HaShabbat by baba
The story · English

The Rebbe of Ungvar in Jerusalem visited the grave of his father, Rabbi Mordechai Dovid Jungreis, known as the "Mishne Halachos," in the ancient cemetery of Safed. The visit marked 15 years since the elder Rebbe's passing.

Prior to traveling to Safed, the current Rebbe held a memorial feast in Jerusalem to commemorate his father's yahrzeit. The visit to the grave was conducted with a small entourage and an umbrella, as documented in accompanying photos.
