Satmar Rebbe Opens New Celebration Halls at Father's Gravesite During Hillula Pilgrimage
The Satmar Rebbe recently inaugurated expanded celebration halls and a private study hall at the gravesite of his father, the late Rebbe "Barch Moshe," in Kiryas Joel, Monroe, during his current vacation. This event was marked by a moving mezuzah affixing ceremony and a festive meal in the new halls.
Meanwhile, the Chernobyl-Zvhil Rebbe was seen with his followers at the "Divrei Chaim" camp in the Catskill Mountains, delivering Torah and Hasidic teachings in preparation for the High Holy Days. Hundreds of Hasidim, rabbis, and rebbes participated in various joyous occasions, including a brit milah for the Zvhil Rebbe's son in Beitar Illit, where the Lviv Rebbe served as sandek and the child was named "Chai Yitzchak" after the late Rebbe of Rachmastrivka.
In other news, the coffin of the late dayan Rabbi Tzvi Zev Berger arrived from Switzerland and was buried in Monsey, USA, with prominent rabbis eulogizing him. The Vizhnitz Rebbe of Monsey is set to fly to Israel next week with two charter planes carrying hundreds of young followers for a historic Shabbat in Meron, visiting holy sites and receiving kvitelach at his grandfather's residence.
Additional highlights include the celebration of a bar mitzvah for the eldest grandson of the Zutshka Rebbe in Bnei Brak, the gathering of hundreds of Zvhil Hasidim in Beitar Illit for a Shabbat commemorating the late Rebbe "Mishnat Shlomo," and a special prayer event led by the Kasov Rebbe at ancient Shiloh, a site associated with fertility prayers.
These events reflect the vibrant spiritual life and communal activities among various Hasidic groups during the month of Elul, as they prepare for the upcoming High Holy Days with prayer, study, and celebration.
